Responsibilities

• Prepare deli/bakery/bistro items per orders using proper equipment.
• Offer samples and inform customers of specials.
• Ensure freshness and correct portions to minimize shrink.
• Recommend items to meet customer needs.
• Operate deli/bakery equipment (refrigeration, slicers, ovens).
• Prepare food to company standards.
• Label and inventory department merchandise.
• Notify manager of discrepancies in orders or shipments.
• Maintain a positive attitude and energy.
• Stay informed about ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety standards and temperatures.
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Report accidents and safety risks to management.
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Assist minors, special needs individuals, and older adults as needed.
