Responsibilities include slicing, preparing items to order, stocking, answering questions, and promoting product samples while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

• Slice deli meats and cheeses to customer requests with proper equipment.
• Prepare deli/bakery/bistro items per customer requests with proper equipment.

• Provide fresh, accurately portioned products to minimize shrink.
• Recommend items to meet customer needs.
• Operate deli/bakery equipment according to guidelines.
• Prepare food to company standards, label and inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain temperatures and logs.
• Report safety risks and incidents to management.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Support and assist customers including minors and seniors as required.
