Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is hiring a Deli Bakery Associate at Beale AFB, CA. This part-time role offers about 4–10 hours per week to serve our nation’s military personnel and families with a friendly, efficient customer experience.

Responsibilities include slicing meats and cheeses, preparing party trays, stocking displays, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with bakery tasks as needed. Some weekend shifts are required; cross-training across deli and bakery is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
• Effective and friendly communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
• Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
• Team player
• Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus!
• Some weekend shifts are required

• Other duties may include cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli/bakery tasks as needed.
