Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is hiring a Deli Bakery Associate for a part-time role at one of our US Military Commissary locations. You will serve military personnel and families with enthusiastic customer service, slice meats, prep trays, and help with bakery tasks.

We value team players with good communication and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Some weekend shifts may be required; cross-training in bakery and deli tasks is available to promote growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Slice deli meats and cheeses per customer request.
• Prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches accordingly.
• Stock and organize displays and help with shipments.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling; work in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with bakery tasks such as cake decorating or rotisserie preparation as needed.
