Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is hiring a Deli Bakery Associate at one of our commissary locations. You will serve military personnel and families with enthusiasm, slice meats and cheeses, prepare party trays, and keep displays stocked.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. We value reliability and are open to cross-training in bakery and deli tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed.
• Grocery, food service or retail experience is a plus.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Slices deli meats and cheeses to customer request.
• Prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly.
• Stock and organize displays; assist with shipments as needed.
• Maintain department sanitation and proper food handling.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to busy periods.
• Other deli/bakery tasks such as cake decorating or rotisserie chicken prep.
