Job summary

SpartanNash's Family Fare division seeks a part-time Deli associate at 15900 W. Michigan Ave, Marshall, MI 49068. You will prepare, package, label, and merchandise deli products and support guest experience across store teams.

You will follow safety, food safety, PPE guidelines, handle basic math for recipes, and coordinate with the Deli Manager on orders and stock. This role requires detail orientation and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Deli Products to Production Planner
• Package and Label Deli Products per program plan
• Merchandise Deli Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations
• Stock Backroom with Deli Products - Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets
• Work as a team with other departments and Stores to achieve growth in SpartanNash Retail stores
• Notify the Deli Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Understand basic functions of adding, subtracting, multiplying and division
• Communicate tasks, recipes, weights and measures, and cleaning steps completed to other associates
• Follow PPE and Safety Guidelines
• Follow Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
