Job summary

Hornbacher's is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. You’ll deliver remarkable customer service, create a warm, engaging atmosphere, and actively engage guests with samples and suggestive selling.

You’ll slice and weigh meats and cheeses, prepare salads, and stock cases with attractive, merchandised products while following health and safety regulations. Training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products
• Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation regulations
• May handle dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders, baking/frying products
