Job summary

Coborn's Incorporated is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We’ll provide the training; you are expected to bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Duties include slicing and weighing meat and cheese, preparing salads, serving guests, stocking cases, and creating trays. You will follow food safety guidelines and may perform dish washing or catering tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for guests.
• Prepare and dish up salads.
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location).
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing.
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store.
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Other duties may include dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders, baking, and frying products.
