Heinen’s is hiring a Retail Professional to support daily deli operations at our Ohio stores. You will manage prep, merchandising, and customer interactions to uphold our high standards and brand.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, safety, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Candidates should be ready to handle lifting up to 50 lbs and to maintain clean, safe conditions across the department.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work non-traditional five-day schedule, including weekends.
• Produce efficient work while handling repetitive tasks.
• Commitment to food safety and department standards.

• Coordinates product orders using effective planning.
• Collaborates with team to complete daily tasks (scanning, recording shrink, order writing, stocking, merchandising).

• Attends required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Complies with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
