Weis Markets is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to support daily deli operations, merchandising, and customer service at our Upper Marlboro location. You will assist with staff scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring freshness and quality across products.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and adherence to sanitation and safety standards while helping drive department performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Completed high school or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket environments.

• Provide quality customer service by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them for shopping.
• Assist Deli Manager with merchandising, ad execution, staff engagement and maintaining stock levels.
• Oversee inventories, weekly sales, orders and supplies to support period-end counts.
• Monitor schedules, control labor costs, and participate in staff training and development.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
