Job summary

Stauffers of Kissel Hill in Lititz, PA is hiring for a full-time Team Member at Lititz Pike Fresh Foods. Flexible day, evening and weekend availability is required.

As a Team Member you’ll help merchandise the department, train staff, schedule breaks and duties, ensure accurate pricing, and assist with inventories. The company promotes from within and provides on-the-job training and leadership classes along with benefits.

Qualifications

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work around cold temperatures near the coolers.

Responsibilities

• Devise game plans and plan-o-grams for merchandising with Buying team.
• Train team members in store policies, product knowledge and duties.
• Assign duties, schedule breaks and vacations based on business needs and events.
• Understand retail label systems and ensure correct pricing with teams.
• Supervise inventories to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
• Act as working manager to support smooth division operation.
• Coordinate vendor invoices and inter-company transfers daily.
• Maintain inventory knowledge to assist ordering of supplies.
• Operate departmental equipment.

Responsibilities

• Devise game plans and plan-o-grams for merchandising of the department in conjunction with the Buying team.
• Trains team members in store policies, department procedures, product knowledge and jobduties to ensure they are working in a productive and safe manner.
• Assigns duties to team members and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacationsbased on the needs of the business and upcoming store events.
• Fully understands the retail label systems, communicates with Scan, General Management,and/or Buying teams to ensure correct pricing.
• Supervises and performs departmental inventories to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
• Is ready and able to assume the job responsibilities of the Department Manager when necessary.
• Communicates with Buying and GM teams regarding merchandising, new productimplementation and appropriate pricing. Promptly follows through with directions.
• Coordinates vendor invoices, SKH invoices, and inter-company transfers on a daily basis to ensure timely billing.
• Functions as a working manager, performing all tasks necessary to assure the smoothoperation of the division (see department job responsibilities).
• Has knowledge of current inventories and ordering systems to assist with the ordering ofsupplies and merchandise from approved vendors.
• Maintains and operates departmental equipment.
