Job summary

Jerry's Enterprises, Inc. at Cub Foods Woodbury is hiring for a part-time Deli role in our neighborhood supermarket.

You will prepare deli products, interact with customers, stock cases, and keep a clean, efficient department with a friendly team. The position offers a progressive wage up to $17.25/hour based on experience and flexible weekend availability.

• Knows about meats, cheeses, salads and good food.
• Attended Food Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with our customers.
• Prepare deli products including a variety of meats and cheeses (you may have to handle pork).
• Fill and rotate cases and display (may be some heavy lifting up to 50lbs).
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store.
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department.
• Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled.

Classification: Part Time

Union Rate of Pay: Progressive scale up to $17.25/ hour, based on experience

Hours: Sunday - Saturday, varied hours

Physical Demands

FREQUENT: Physical lifting/carrying to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling 500 to 1500 pounds walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting Equipment Operation: scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, and intercom pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, roaster, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, pizza oven, coffee pot, cleaning utensils Mental: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math Environmental: exposure to hot and cold temperatures, hot equipment and cooking oil OCCASIONAL: Physical: lifting/carrying over 50 lbs., crawling **FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift.** OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift.
