Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a DEIB Community Liaison & Trainer to advance 988 awareness and access, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ communities in Spokane. You will partner with the DEIB Coordinator and lead LGBTQIA+-focused training and resources, delivering culturally responsive outreach and education to diverse communities.

You will collaborate with marketing, leadership, and community partners to develop trainings, gather feedback, and improve crisis services accessibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health related field.
• Must apply for Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential from the Washington State Department of Health within 30 days of hire and maintain throughout employment in position.
• Must have an unrestricted and valid driver’s license, active car insurance and must be willing to use personal vehicles in the course of work.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with individuals, community organizations, service providers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to strengthen awareness of, access to, and connection with 988 services, with a primary focus on LGBTQIA+ communities.
• Conduct community outreach and education regarding 988 services, including how and when to access crisis support, with focused engagement of LGBTQIA+ communities and other underserved populations as assigned.
• Represent FBH and 988 services at Pride events, community events, resource fairs, conferences, and other outreach activities, including staffing informational tables and engaging with community members.
