Job summary

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking a passionate DEI and Lived Experience Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term contract at Allambie Heights, NSW, Australia. You will drive the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy, strengthen employee voice, and coordinate networks that meaningfully influence organisational decisions.

The role focuses on disability and neuroinclusion, First Nations reconciliation, and building governance capacity across employee networks.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion or a related field.
• Applicants with lived experience of disability are strongly encouraged to apply and understand lived experience in shaping workplace practices.
• Experience building, supporting or facilitating networks, groups or communities.
• Confidence in facilitating meetings, governance support and building member capability.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A passion for disability inclusion, accessibility and organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Build the capacity of Employee Networks, supporting governance, planning and engagement.
• Use feedback and survey insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote inclusive recruitment, workplace adjustments and employment pathways for people with disability.
• Establish CPA's Critical Friends Network through co-design principles.
• Coordinate lived experience consultation and co-design activities to inform decisions.
• Support disability inclusion, neuroinclusion and equitable employment initiatives.
• Build capacity of Burbangana and support First Nations reconciliation and cultural learning initiatives.
