Chimera Enterprises International, Inc (Chimera) is seeking a Travel Specialist to manage both domestic and international travel for a defense research organization. Responsibilities include coordinating travel arrangements, preparing travel authorizations in the Defense Travel System (DTS), and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate should have 4–6+ years of experience in travel support, demonstrated knowledge of DTS, JTR, and GTCC policies, and must hold a Secret clearance or higher. Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in related travel systems.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience as a travel clerk or travel specialist supporting Government travel.
• Demonstrated experience with DTS, JTR, GTCC policies, and foreign clearance processes.
• Secret clearance or higher, with eligibility for additional access as required by the work location.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel arrangements for Government personnel, ensuring compliance with travel regulations.
• Research and interpret travel regulations, provide guidance on allowable expenses.
• Administer aspects of the GTCC program and support users with card‑related questions.
