Blackrock Strategy is seeking a Software Engineer for Defense Test & Evaluation in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on software engineering, technical evaluation, and experimental activities across defense programs within secure environments.

The candidate will collaborate with government stakeholders, engineers, and analysts to assess system performance, troubleshoot issues, and develop engineering tools and scripts. On-site work is required with travel 10–20% and a DoD clearance.

Formación

• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of defense or government software engineering experience.
• Experience with C++, Python, Java or similar languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and work across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Support software engineering, analysis, and evaluation across defense programs.
• Develop, modify, test, and integrate software and analytical tools.
• Evaluate performance via modeling, testing, and data analysis.
• Generate technical reports and briefings for stakeholders.
