Job summary

Leidos Defense Sensors is seeking Software Test Engineers at multiple levels to join our Sensor Research and Analysis Division in Huntsville, AL. You will work with Agile teams on missile defense programs, designing and executing tests for real-time software and simulations.

Ideal candidates possess strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with government customers. On-site roles require residency in the North Alabama area and eligibility for a DoD Secret

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited degree and 2–4 years in design, development, and testing of real-time software apps/simulations or MS with less than 2 years in such work.
• Experience with GitLab/Git, Git.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS.
• Knowledge of SAFe and Agile in a technical/engineering environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present.
• U.S. citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance.
• Resident of North Alabama area for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute test procedures to verify requirements/features.
• Build complex test scenarios for modeling and simulation-based systems.
• Capture and communicate test results clearly and effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Government customers to verify requirements.
• Work with an Agile team and participate in PI planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
