Job summary

Blackrock Strategy is seeking an Emerging Technology Assessment Analyst to support DoD customers evaluating new technologies, concepts, and future capabilities. You will work with government leaders, military operators, engineers, and industry partners to inform acquisition decisions and modernization efforts.

Travel 15–25% is expected; candidates must be eligible for Top Secret clearance and reside within commuting distance of Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience preparing executive-level reports and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of operational assessments, tech evaluations, and experimentation events.
• Collaborate with leadership to define assessment objectives, measures of effectiveness, and criteria.
• Design and execute data collection methodologies for objective operational analysis.
• Collect, validate, organize, and analyze data from demonstrations and testing.
• Evaluate emerging technologies in operational contexts to identify gaps and improvements.
• Apply methodologies to develop evidence-based findings for technology transition.
• Develop executive briefings, technical reports, white papers for sponsors and leadership.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to military leaders and stakeholders.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and methodological continuous improvement.
• Contribute to multiple concurrent projects in emerging technology development.
