Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a Director of Technology to provide visionary technical and operational leadership across sector-wide programs. You will bridge deep technical vision with market strategy, capex and P&L oversight, and drive long-range planning for military and intelligence locations, CONUS and OCONUS.

The role requires a proven track record of scaling engineering organizations, winning major programs, and delivering cyber, cloud, and AI/ML capabilities.

Qualifications

• Clearance: active full-scope polygraph, US citizenship.
• 15+ years in engineering/tech leadership with degree; or 13+ years with Master’s; or 19+ with HS diploma.
• 10+ years in executive management with P&L ownership.
• Proven Capture Strategy & Proposal Leadership for DoD/IC.
• Experience scaling software and systems engineering orgs.
• Expertise in Enterprise Tech Vision, Cybersecurity, Cloud/Data, AI/ML.
• Strong communication and advisory skills; able to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Interface with DoD/IC stakeholders as a senior tech executive.
• Oversee growth strategy, P&L, and multi-program operations.
• Lead capture and proposal frameworks for high-visibility opportunities.
• Drive digital transformation across cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and data platforms.
• Align R&D investments with federal priorities to support program success.
