Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking an Engineering Licensing & Software Asset Specialist to determine licensing models for CAE’s delivered simulators and coordinate with engineering, procurement and licensing teams. You’ll support offline activation, maintain entitlement ledgers and prepare status reports.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with offline/air-gapped systems, and U.S. citizenship for DoD contracts. Excellent documentation and cross-functional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 4–8+ years of experience in software licensing, SAM, IT procurement, or system integration.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex licensing models.
• Experience supporting offline/air-gapped systems.
• Familiarity with export-controlled environments is preferred.
• U.S. citizenship required due to DoD contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine, document, and manage licensing models for COTS software in CAE simulator systems.
• Serve as liaison between engineering, procurement, vendors, and internal licensing teams.
• Support offline activation workflows and air-gapped environments.
• Log licenses, generate media, and prepare entitlement documentation.
• Maintain entitlement ledgers and prepare status accounting reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PMO, and COTS licensing teams.
• Develop and update internal work procedures.
