Job summary

CAE USA seeks an experienced engineer to develop and deploy modifications to training support devices used in defense simulations. You will implement, test, and document hardware baseline changes for reliability and performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced lab. DoD eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in aviation or aviation-related simulation hardware design is highly desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; strong technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver presentations to management and customers; works independently; able to work overtime and various shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze design, development, and implementation of hardware for products.
  • Install, configure, and maintain training equipment and site preparation.
  • Perform diagnostics and ongoing support for training devices.
  • Assist in managing hardware and software license compliance.
  • Develop test strategies, devices, and systems.
  • Create and modify hardware drawings and documentation.
