Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to lead hardware modifications and deployment of training support devices. You will implement, test, and document hardware baseline changes, with responsibilities spanning design, diagnostics, and field support.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years in related fields, and strong computer-aided design and Microsoft Office skills. U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
  • 5+ years in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.).
  • Experience in aviation or aviation simulation hardware design/modification desired.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; ability to generate and modify drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, test, and document hardware for training devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain training equipment and site prep.
  • Perform diagnostics and provide ongoing support for training devices.
  • Manage inventory of hardware and software licenses.
  • Prepare hardware drawings and technical documentation.
