Job summary

V2X Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Project Engineer I to support all phases of development across Systems, Hardware, Software, and Cyber domains. You will work within the Weapons System Integration Team to deliver technically compliant, cost-targeted solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead cross-disciplinary efforts, develop project plans, and manage backlogs while ensuring adherence to standards (DoD, MIL-STD, ITAR) and maintaining strong stakeholder communication. U.S.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills across all levels.
• Systems engineering knowledge and lifecycle management.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Strong problem-solving and execution skills.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

Responsibilities

• Support the technical authority and design owner for assigned programs.
• Coordinate the technical project team to meet budget and schedule.
• Develop spend plans, staffing plans, the project schedule, and org chart.
• Create the project backlog, write user stories, and manage releases.
• Support program reviews with cost, schedule, and measurement data.
• Collaborate with program management to meet objectives.
• Assist in program review preparations and data for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/MIL-STD/ITAR/cyber standards.
• Support proposals, Basis of Estimates, and volumes.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams across systems, software, hardware, cybersecurity, integration, and test.
