Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Multi-Disciplined Engineer to advance all-digital models and HWIL. You will develop aerodynamic models, threat trajectories, and system-level simulations for defense programs, translating capabilities into actionable simulations.

The role requires 2+ years in M&S/HWIL, strong programming skills (Python/Matlab/C+/C#/Java), and U.S. citizenship. You will mentor teammates and continuously improve model fidelity and analysis methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or Math, with 2+ years in M&S/HWIL for defense.
• Ability to implement threat, sensor, or weapon functionality into M&S.
• Ability to conduct research and perform analysis on requirements, capability, and operational effects.
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, C+, C#, Java.
• Passion for solving problems with strong analytical and communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide M&S/HWIL development, integration, test, verify and analysis for all-digital models and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Develop, integrate, and execute aerodynamic models and simulations for missiles and threats.
• Translate systems/capabilities/algorithms into models for system performance analysis and design trades.
• Develop interfaces for simulation architectures and ensure data quality for analysis.
• Perform verification, validation, and anchoring on M&S and HWIL efforts and report findings.
• Collaborate, mentor team members, and continually improve processes.
