Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. in Huntsville, Alabama, seeks a Multi-Disciplined Engineer to join our on-site team. You will develop, integrate and test digital models and simulations (M&S/HWIL) and report findings to improve defense system analyses.

A BS in science/engineering/math/tech and 2+ years of M&S/HWIL experience are required. Proficiency in Python, Matlab, C++, C#, or Java is expected. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or Math and 2+ years' experience with M&S and/or HWIL development for defense programs/technologies.
• Ability to implement threat, sensor, or weapon functionality/algorithms into M&S.
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, C++, C#, Java, or similar languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering development, integration, test, verify and analysis expertise for M&S and HWIL.
• Develop and execute aerodynamic models and simulations to characterize missiles and threats.
• Integrate models for system design trades and analysis.
• Develop interfaces for simulation architectures.
• Analyze trajectories and aerodynamic data to assess model accuracy.
• Plan and conduct trade studies and capability analyses.
