Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks an M&S Software Integration Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency’s Engineering Directorate M&S Office.

You will test the Missile Defense System in a distributed HWIL environment, supporting ground tests, flight tests, risk reduction, and post-flight reconstruction at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities include integrating, testing, and operating HWIL simulations; configuring OSF systems; analyzing architecture performance;

Qualifications

• System Administration experience with security-focused IT environments.
• Familiarity with containerized applications in cloud environments.
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs or similar defense systems.
• Familiarity with Objective Simulation Framework (OSF).
• Familiarity with GST, BMDS C2BMC, and TGx components.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, testing, and operation of HWIL simulation environments for MDS Ground Tests and Flight Tests.
• Install, configure, checkout, and test OSF systems per requirements.
• Analyze HWIL architecture performance and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Evaluate network traffic and ensure system functionality between MDA elements.
• Document configurations, procedures, and results; generate reports for events and analysis.
