Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a DoD customer at Fort Meade, MD. This role emphasizes delivering system-level artifacts and ensuring technical integrity across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.

You will develop and deliver work products, supervise工程 teams, and coordinate with program staff and executives to evaluate alternatives and define requirements compatible with DoDAF/SOA architectures. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related discipline with at least 10 years of systems engineering experience (Master's degree or PhD may substitute for two years).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities and develop work products per ISO/IEC 15288.
• Coordinate with program personnel, customers, and senior executives.
• Develop and deliver work products in ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
• Supervise or coordinate work of other engineers or technicians on a project.
• Analyze engineering standards and processes and propose improvements.
• Analyze technical alternatives and provide preliminary recommendations.
• Manage system requirements to ensure compatibility with DoDAF and SOA architectures.
• Coordinate action items from CCB meetings, design reviews, and test reviews.
