KBR requires a Systems Engineer in the Dayton, OH area to support the Simulators Division for the AFLCMC. The role covers lifecycle logistics, engineering support, and cost reduction across global sites. Candidates should have a DoD clearance and a strong grasp of acquisition processes.

Location: In person in the Dayton region with about 10% travel. You will work with government and contractor teams to ensure rigorous testing, scheduling, and technical readiness for critical defense programs.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or software engineering with 10 years related experience.
• DoD security clearance: Secret, upgrade to TS may be required.
• Knowledge of systems engineering and Air Force acquisition processes.

Mansioni

• Develop and coordinate Acceptance Test Plans for Government Acceptance Tests and procedures.
• Review statements of work and liaise between teams and contractors.
• Evaluate proposals for feasibility, technical merit, and cost-effectiveness.
• Review CDRLs for completeness, accuracy and compliance.
• Lead or participate in key engineering reviews and meetings.
• Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are delivered.
