Job summary

KBR is seeking a Software Engineer to support the integration of USAF open architecture programs and autonomy projects, ensuring alignment across systems and improving mission effectiveness. The role emphasizes simulation execution, data analysis, and digital engineering support in a high-security environment.

Location is on-site with minimal travel. Candidates should have an active Secret clearance, 1–3 years of systems engineering experience, and an associate degree in a relevant STEM field.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or related STEM degree program.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in Systems Engineering.
• An active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Simulation Execution & Test Support: Validate inputs/outputs, troubleshoot, monitor performance, and configure simulations in lab/virtual environments.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze results, identify trends, generate reports and visuals for decisions.
• Digital Engineering Support: Develop and maintain digital engineering artifacts, participate in Digital Thread and Digital Twin initiatives.
• Team Collaboration: Define objectives with systems engineers, coordinate with software and cybersecurity teams, support DoD demonstrations.
