Job summary

Cubic Corporation's Cubic Defense unit is seeking a senior strategist to develop and execute long-term objectives. The role prioritizes market research, strategic planning, and coordinating initiatives in DoD acquisition contexts, reporting to Cubic Defense leadership.

This position involves working with presidents and business leaders, shaping messaging, supporting annual plans, and guiding growth opportunities, with travel to customer locations and trade shows as needed.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in business, finance, and marketing or related field.
• Fifteen years defense/aerospace industry or senior military experience with emphasis in RDT&E programs, demonstrations and transitions of technology to programs of record.
• MBA or advanced degree highly desirable.
• Proven analytical skills and ability to interact with U.S. and foreign agencies, customers, executive and management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic plan within assigned service domain and execute growth strategies.
• Establish business battle rhythm to ensure success on short and long-term objectives.
• Direct assessment of potential opportunities via market and economic analysis and customer needs.
• Identify risks/opportunities and develop mitigation/realization actions.
• Directly support GM/VPs with messaging strategy, briefing content, and follow-up; engagements at client locations, Cubic sites, and trade shows.
• Support the development and update of Cubic Defense’s strategic plan and annual business plan with financial/market forecast.
