Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Sales Engineer - Department of War to provide pre- and post-sales technical support for our advanced radio and mesh networking solutions. You will interact with customers, conduct demonstrations, and assist in product development while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Remote work is possible depending on location; ideal candidates are entrepreneurial technologists who enjoy customer interaction and travel.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field with pre/post-sales experience.
• Proficiency with RF instruments like signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Security clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and customer training.
• Develop expert understanding of Silvus' radio and networking solutions.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customers.
• Visit customer sites to deliver training and support.
• Troubleshoot field failures and coordinate with development teams.
• Support sales and business development activities through technical facilitation.
• Travel as required (up to 50%).
