Job summary

Armtec Defense Technologies in Coachella/NC area is hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist to prepare and improve production lot packets, inspection plans, and program data packets, coordinating SDRLs/CDRLs and DCMA QAR inspections. You will ensure accuracy and translate complex information into clear content and maintain updated technical data in configuration management.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documents and procedures with attention to detail.
• Must have legible and accurate handwriting.
• Work independently or as a team player.
• Strong writing and organizational skills; adhere to standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documents including SOPs, manuals, guides, FAQs, and other materials.
• Lead the development of Inspection Plans and related program documents.
• Prepare Final Shipment packets and data card approvals, including WARP and WAWF.
• Support quality tools for root cause investigations (SPC, 8Ds, lean tools).
• Collaborate with SMEs and production teams to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Structure content for maximum reader comprehension and include visuals.
