Job summary

Weldaloy Products Company seeks a Quality Assurance Assistant to manage documentation and customer approval workflows, enabling Quality Engineers to focus on technical decisions. You will prepare and organize certifications, inspection reports, and records in support of manufacturing and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2+ years related experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9001; AS9100 preferred
• Document control experience
• Document preparation knowledge; AS9102 desired
• Experience with ERP system, preferably PLEX
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
• Strong problem solving and organizational/communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality documentation packages to support production and customer requirements
• Compile and organize documentation including certifications, inspection reports, and technical records
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and formatted per internal/customer standards
• Submit documentation packages to customers for approval and track status
• Maintain records of submissions, approvals, and revisions; update status in Plex
• Coordinate responses to customer documentation-related requests; escalate as needed
