Job summary

Saab’s Surveillance Systems division seeks a Program Director to lead major ground and naval radar programs from development through sustainment. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, contracts, and finance to deliver on cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Your experience in EVMS, cross-functional leadership, and executive communication will drive profitable growth and customer satisfaction across multiple time zones. This role requires travel up to 25% and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, information technology, or related field.
• A master’s degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, project management, operations, or related discipline.
• 3+ years managing program/project managers or cross-functional teams.
• EVMS experience: PMBs, cost/schedule performance, variances, corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage product development priorities with stakeholders across multiple domains.
• Provide leadership for assigned program portfolios including cost, schedule, and performance.
• Establish program strategy, budgets, execution plans, and performance metrics with EVMS reporting.
• Lead multidisciplinary programs spanning design to sustainment of radar systems.
• Oversee program execution, requirements, risk, and regulatory considerations.
• Collaborate across functions to optimize resources and achieve portfolio objectives.
• Represent Saab with senior customers across time zones and travel internationally as required.
• Build relationships with industry partners and customers.
• Align strategy with execution across marketing campaigns.
