Job summary

Maximus seeks a Business Manager to support POTFF, delivering operational, financial, and stakeholder-management support across performance domains for special operations mission readiness.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, overseeing multi-project programs, budgeting, and contract support. Requires active Secret clearance eligibility, 7–10 years of experience, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related field preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, resource planning, procurement, and cost control.
• Supervising staff and coordinating work across cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of federal contracting and compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business reporting tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and planning activities.
• Oversee large multi-project programs including planning, staffing, leading, and controlling activities.
• Create and execute project work plans and adapt to changing needs.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities; manage budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain resource plans and required documents; track metrics.
• Ensure quality through reviews and PMI standards; coordinate engagement reviews.
• Escalate issues, minimize risk, and communicate with stakeholders and customers.
• Draft vendor contracts, addendums, SOWs, RFPs/RFIs, and change requests.
• Lead continuous improvement teams.
