Job summary

Moog Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead multi-million-dollar defense programs from inception to delivery onsite. You will drive execution, manage contract compliance, and lead cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, 5 years of defense program management experience, and familiarity with Stage-Gate, systems engineering lifecycles, and EVMS; clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• 5 years of program management experience, defense/aerospace industry preferred.
• PMP or DAU Level II/III in Program Management are desirable.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Program Execution: Lead planning, execution, and closeout of defense programs, ensuring budgets and delivery schedules.
• Financial Management: Implement EVMS to track costs, forecasts, and margins.
• Contract Compliance: Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS and manage contract changes or modifications.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain ITAR and EAR compliance for all program data and hardware.
• Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify and mitigate technical, supply chain, and schedule risks.
• Proposal Support: Lead or support proposals including Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Negotiation & stakeholder communication with military and executives.
