Job summary

Aerotek in Wharton, NJ is hiring Production Assemblers for a contract-to-hire role in a clean, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will assemble components from drawings, perform wiring and soldering tasks, and inspect finished parts to meet specs.

This onsite position offers a 7:00am-5:30pm shift, pay from $22-$24 per hour with overtime at $36/hour, and a benefits package including medical, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for assembling components to drawings and specs.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Collaborative mindset to coordinate with supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components per drawings and operation sheets.
• Perform weighing, loading, pressing, and soldering tasks.
• Handle tooling, fixtures, and use hand tools to produce parts.
• Log time and quantities to track progress.
• Close and assemble units with crimping/epoxy; inspect quality.
• Route wire harnesses and terminate wires per specs.
