Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electronic / Electrical Assembler for a contract to hire role in Greenwood, IN. The position offers first and second shifts with pay up to $18/hr, onsite at the Greenwood facility.

Responsibilities include assembling components, following blueprints and BOMs, using hand and power tools, calibrating devices, and ensuring quality through testing and inspections. Benefits apply; inclusive workplace with standard safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Steel-toed or composite-toed shoes required.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and assembly experience.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic math skills, including measurements and calculations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic components and subassemblies.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, bills of materials, and production processes.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Program transmitters and perform laser-related assembly operations as required.
• Conduct visual inspections, functional testing, and quality checks.
• Perform device calibration when needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report material discrepancies.
• Move materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.
