Job summary

Boeing is seeking a contract assembly technician for a 100% onsite assignment in Smithfield, PA. The role focuses on routine production assembly of structural and mechanical components, with strict adherence to established procedures and quality standards.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing/assembly experience, including drawing literacy and use of production tools. Willingness to work any shift is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years reading engineering drawings and specifications (blueprints/schematics)
• Experience in a highly regulated environment where compliance is critical
• 1+ years in a manufacturing/assembly environment
• Experience with fabrication/assembly of mechanical or electrical systems using production standards

Responsibilities

• Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies and aircraft systems
• Develops, documents and implements corrective/preventive actions for problem resolution
• Learns continuously to maintain necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
• Maintains adherence to safety, quality and process standards
