Aerotek is seeking an Assembler/Maintenance Technician in Hanover, MD, to perform component assembly from engineering drawings and BOMs. The role emphasizes precise fitting, tooling use, and adherence to safety practices onsite.

Ideal candidates will read technical docs, handle hand and power tools, and participate in quality inspections to ensure product integrity. This is a contract-to-hire position offering onsite work and steady hours.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets technical drawings, blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Proficient with hand and power tools to assemble products per specs.
• Maintains quality through careful inspections and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies per drawings and work instructions.
• Read BOMs and technical docs to ensure correct assembly.
• Operate torque wrenches and basic tools to meet specs.
• Perform quality inspections for fit, alignment, and function.
• Identify defective parts and inspect incoming materials.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and efficiency.
