Job summary

Aerotek in Wharton, NJ is hiring Production Assemblers for a contract-to-hire role in a clean, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will assemble components from drawings, perform wiring and soldering tasks, and inspect finished parts to meet specs.

This onsite position offers a 7:00am-5:30pm shift, pay from $22-$24 per hour with overtime at $36/hour, and a benefits package including medical, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will assemble components according to detailed drawings and operation sheets, ensuring precision and quality in every task. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Assemble components in accordance with drawings and operation sheets.
• Perform weighing, loading, and pressing operations.
• Handle tooling and fixtures and use various hand tools to produce or modify parts.
• Maintain count and order progress by logging time and quantities.
• Close and assemble units using crimping and closure tools and apply epoxy.
• Perform soldering tasks, including small wire soldering, terminal soldering, and bridge wire welding.
• Build and route wire harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires according to specifications.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocol

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wharton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
