Total Force Alliance, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer II to support the DISA Global Operations Center in a 24x7 environment. The role involves configuring circuits across optical and IP networks, performing real-time circuit redesigns, and coordinating with DoD and external agencies to ensure maximum network availability.

Candidates must hold an active DoD secret clearance and IAT Level 2. The position requires a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with network

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hold DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) prior to start date.
• Able to work in a 24x7 shift work environment; knowledge of Transport and IP network topologies.
• Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Execute network operations including configuration and analysis of circuits across optical and Ethernet platforms.
• Perform real-time circuit redesign to restore connectivity during outages and maintenance actions.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers and DoD to maximize network availability and minimize mission impact.
• Monitor network alarms and utilize management tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Handle change management tasks such as hardware replacements and software configurations.
• Document outages, degradations, isolations, escalations, and resolutions in incident systems.
