Job summary

Total Force Alliance, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer I to support DISA DGOC operations in a 24x7 environment. You will configure and analyze circuits across optical and IP networks, perform alternate routing to restore connectivity, and work with DoD partners to maximize service availability.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 1–2 years of experience, active DoD Secret clearance (or higher), and DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) before start date
• Able to work in a 24x7 shift work environment
• Working knowledge of Transport and IP network topologies
• Must have active DoD Secret clearance or higher

Responsibilities

• Execute network operations including configuration and analysis of circuits across optical and IP devices
• Perform real-time circuit redesign (alternate routing) to restore connectivity during outages
• Collaborate with internal/external customers and DoD agencies to maximize network availability
• Monitor network alarms using platform management tools
• Perform change management tasks including hardware replacements and software configurations
• Document outages, degradations, isolations, escalations, and resolutions in incident systems
• Assess and propose resolutions leveraging knowledge of routers, switches, crypto devices, and MPLS/SDH/SONET
