Job summary

ANSER is seeking a Microelectronics Industrial Base Analyst (Digital Engineering) to support the IBAS program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy. The role combines strategic program management with deep technical knowledge in microelectronics architecture and cloud deployments for large-scale collaborative projects.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TOP SECRET.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in microelectronics architecture and/or cloud architecture for DoD-scale programs.
• Hands‑on familiarity with EDA tools or cloud infrastructure for rigorous workloads.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills; ability to distill complex issues into clear reports and briefings for senior leadership.
• Proven ability to work in a high-tempo, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze how DoD enterprise digital infrastructures can address microelectronics base issues.
• Oversee development of hybrid cloud EDA and collaboration platforms.
• Develop strategy to bridge gaps in domestic microelectronics design, deployment, and sustainment for DoD programs.
• Evaluate proposals and acquisition strategies for microelectronics digital engineering solutions.
• Monitor programmatic and technical execution across funded projects in microelectronics digital engineering.
• Represent IBAS at meetings and events for microelectronics digital engineering.
• Identify investment opportunities to improve resiliency and reduce supply chain risk.
• Prepare strategic assessments and executive briefing materials.
