Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager 2 for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. This leadership role supervises Manufacturing Engineers, develops resource plans, and ensures digital engineering methods are applied across production work.

The ideal candidate has a technical or business degree, 8+ years of experience (or a master's with 6+ years), and an active DoD Secret clearance. Strong communication and program leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business related field required; 8+ years related experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of application with ability to obtain SAP approval.
• 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
• Demonstrated management experience leading a technical and complex program effort.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CS Manufacturing Lead to assess SOW requirements for the Sentinel program.
• Develop and coordinate accurate resource plans, assist with Integrated Master Schedules and status tracking metrics.
• Provide guidance for the Manufacturing Engineers executing SOW requirements.
• Ensure consistency in Digital Engineering processes, tools and methods for production development work.
• Develop team members for growth in scope and job satisfaction.
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans; identify opportunities and solutions.
• Assess team member performance relative to goals.
• Communicate effectively with customers, NGC, suppliers and leadership.
