CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our defense-focused litigation team in Dallas.

You will handle insurance-related matters, personal injury, product liability and catastrophic loss cases from intake through trial. The successful candidate will draft pleadings and motions, take and defend depositions, coordinate with experts, manage discovery, and mentor junior attorneys while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the practice jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, defending insurers and handling PI, product liability and catastrophic loss.
• Experience taking/defending depositions; strong motion practice and advocacy.
• Proven ability to coordinate with experts and manage discovery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of defense and insurance litigation, including PI, product liability and catastrophic loss claims.
• Conduct intake, factual investigation and develop litigation strategy and case plans.
• Draft, file and respond to pleadings, motions, briefs and other court documents; prepare affidavits and legal memoranda.
• Plan, prepare for and take and defend depositions; coordinate deposition strategy with witnesses and experts.
• Conduct discovery, analyze evidence and manage electronic discovery processes.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlements and trials; negotiate resolutions.
• Mentor junior attorneys and review work product; maintain case files and billing records.
