Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to represent insurer clients in a wide range of liability matters.

The successful candidate will manage a busy litigation caseload from intake through resolution, develop defense strategies, handle discovery and motion practice, participate in depositions and trials as needed, and maintain strong client relationships. We welcome partner-level candidates with a book of business or small groups with portable business, and seek candidates

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and PA bar admission.
• 5+ years of litigation experience with a focus on insurance defense and complex matters; trial experience preferred.
• Experience in all phases of litigation: discovery, motions, depositions, and trial prep.
• Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurance clients in state and federal court matters, including pleadings, motion practice, hearings, and trials.
• Manage a diverse caseload from intake through resolution or trial.
• Conduct factual and legal investigations, including depositions, discovery, and witness preparation.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement documents, and other litigation-related correspondence.
• Develop case strategy with claims professionals, experts, and co-counsel to achieve cost-effective resolutions.
• Negotiate settlements and ADR outcomes aligned with client goals and exposure limits.
