Job summary

CyberCoders seeks an Associate Attorney to join its plaintiff personal injury practice in Plano, TX. The attorney will handle a full caseload from pre-litigation through trial, advocating for injured clients, coordinating with medical and expert witnesses, and handling depositions and court appearances.

The ideal candidate has a JD and bar admission, 2+ years of PI litigation experience, and proven trial preparation skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in good standing.
• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience preferred.
• Proven trial preparation and courtroom advocacy experience.
• Ability to manage all phases of litigation from pre-litigation to trial.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload from pre-litigation through trial, including triage and strategy.
• Conduct factual and legal investigations, coordinate with providers and experts.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses timely.
• Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and work with trial teams.
• Develop case strategy and litigation plans including discovery and trial prep.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
• Communicate with clients regularly about status and expectations.
• Collaborate with staff to manage deadlines, billing, and file organization.
• Maintain accurate case records in CMS and assist with exhibits and logistics.
