Cooper Levenson is seeking a professional Litigation Attorney to join its Defense Litigation practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Associate will assist in case evaluation, develop litigation strategy, and represent clients through depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.

The role requires a JD from an accredited law school, Nevada Bar admission, and 1–3+ years of civil/defense litigation experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in Nevada is required.
• 1–3+ years of civil/defense litigation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to train for the right candidate.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Team player with ability to interact closely with clients.
• Comfort with court appearances in State and Federal Court.
• Familiarity with NetDocs a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assists Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy.
• Represents clients in litigation.
• Conducts extensive legal research and drafts correspondences, pleadings, discovery and motions.
• Prepares for and conducts depositions.
• Prepares for and participates in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Assists in preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
