Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Component engineering focused on quality and reliability of IEEE parts.
• Familiarity with MIL‑STD and IEEE standards; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide component engineering support and author technical reports.
• Advise on part selection to ensure performance, reliability, and sustainment.
• Troubleshoot component-level issues and propose solutions.
• Apply knowledge of electrical test methods, radiation effects, failure analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with program offices, contractors, and labs; support audits/reviews.
• Create and refine test plans and documentation; support life-cycle engineering for defense systems.
• Travel 25–50% for audits, reviews, and engagements.
